M. Thomas Jackson is the current editor of ImageNomads and a contributor, focusing primarily on the southern region of the US.. He is a Disabled Veteran of the 1990 Gulf War. After Serving in the US Army, he received a degree in Computer Science and worked as a Senior Systems Engineer for a major US based casino chain. After becoming unable to work, Jackson took up photography as a hobby where he concentrates in portraiture. He also donates his time, resources and talents to local charities supporting the homeless and food banks.
Current CEO/COO of ImageNomads, Donald Carr served 26 years in military service and was retired due to injuries sustained in combat in FEB 2014. After service, he became heavily involved in recreational diving, eventually earning his Instructor rating, as well as becoming a professional photographer. His images representing travels throughout Asia, have risen in demand in advertising, illustrative venues and media forums around the world. Currently residing in the Philippines, he devotes his time to travel with his family allowing him the forum to share his experinces thru images and writting. He has the ability to express the experience, location history and the small details of the culture thru these media formats. Other interests include PADI Dive Instructor, Technical Diver, and writting.
M.E. Stang worked as a defense contractor in Afghanistan and Kuwait during OIF / OEF, after serving twenty two years in the National Guard Bureau. He is now retired and resides on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. He now spends his time enjoying nature and travel
Wes’s love of writing started when he was 10 years old when he convinced his hometown paper to allow him to write a story about a local historical building. Wes went on to be editor of his high school news paper and received his schools journalism award upon graduation. After high school, Wes enlisted in the United States Air Force (USAF) where he would spend the next 20 years traveling around the world spending extensive time in Asia. He spent the majority of his time as a Security Forces K9 Handler, Trainer and Supervisor. The love of writing had not left him, he just spent 15 years writing police reports. After spending 4 years out of uniform writing reports of investigation as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Wes became an Enlisted Historian. Wes retired from the USAF as a Technical Sergeant in 2008 and began a career in the specialty coffee industry. He is a Master Barista with extensive experience in sales, training and key account management. Today, Wes and his wife Madel are empty nesters and travel frequently. Wes is currently the Vice President of Beverage for Jack’s Donuts Corporation headquartered in New Castle, IN as well as Key Account Manager for Visions Espresso Service in Seattle, WA. He has stayed very busy since retiring. Soon he and his wife Madel will move to the Philippines where Wes will transition into the Asia Representative for Visions Espresso Service as well as joining the staff at the Barista and Coffee Academy of Asia as an Adjunct Instructor. He plans to take up diving and working much less. While living in the Philippines, Wes and Madel plan to travel, scuba dive extensively and document their journeys!
